Sunsparks Acquires Bren Esports’ Former Wild Rift Roster

Sunsparks recently acquired Bren Esports’s former League of Legends: Wild Rift team roster. As announced back on 15th Oct 2021, Bren Esports released its Wild Rift squad. However, the organization did not specify the reason for releasing its team. Some fans speculate that this is due to which hinders Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) organizations from creating Wild Rift teams. Sunsparks later announced on 22nd October that it will be taking up the former Bren Esports squad. The pro players are now looking forward to showing off their skills under a new banner in future Wild Rift esports events.

Sunsparks reveals new Wild Rift roster

The former Mobile Legends esports powerhouse and back-to-back MPL PH Season 4 and 5 champion, Sunsparks, jumps into the Wild Rift esports scene with its new squad. The team is composed of the former Bren Esports Wild Rift pro players.

The big announcement was made through a post made on the official Facebook page of Sunspark PH. The organization revealed that five out of the six pro players that were released from Bren Esports have been acquired.

“A warm welcome to our newest Wild Rift team who will surely bring pride and honor to our Sunsparks fam!,” Sunsparks captioned.

The team is comprised of the following members;

The former Bren Esports squad did not get the chance to dominate the Wild Rift esports scene. The team finished 5-8th place in the Southeast Asia Icon Series: Preseason – Philippines. The team did fairly well in the Wild Rift Philippines Pro Gaming League (PPGL) 2021 Fall: Group A, securing 1st runner-up but then later on fell drastically at the PPGL 2021 Fall: Playoffs with a 7th-8th place finish.

With a brand new team, the pro players are looking forward to redeeming themselves in upcoming Wild Rift esports events. For now, Sunsparks’ Wild Rift roster will hone their skills while waiting for the next season of the Wild Rift esports scene.

It will be interesting to see if Sunsparks’ Wild Rift roster will be able to impress its fans in future Wild Rift tournaments.
