    Nalini Singh started her career as a journalist and TV anchor with Doordarshan. She has anchored many popular current-affairs programs on the channel. In 1995, Nalini anchored a social documenting series, Hello Zindagi, on Doordarshan

    She is well-known for presenting the investigative journalism program “Aankhon Dekhi” on DD Metro Channel (Currently known as DD News). She anchored the show from 1990 to 2002. Nalini is the managing director of TV Live India Pvt Ltd. She is also the managing editor of the news channel, Nepal-1.

    Controversy

    Nalini Singh attracted controversy for misbehaving with a reporter (Anjana Rawal) of her news channel, Nepal-1. While calling her a ‘Bitch,’ Nalini asked Rawal to “Eat” her shoes, which enraged Anjana, and she slapped Nalini and filed a defamation suit against her.
