First real-life photos of alleged Galaxy S22 Ultra emerge
- A set of photos showing what appears to be a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra just leaked.
- As expected, the photos show a phone that looks remarkably like a Galaxy Note, complete with S Pen slot.
- This is likely an early prototype, so the design might not be final.
Case in point, today we have a set of what appear to be real-life photos of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (via Front Page Tech). The images closely align with leaked renders we saw weeks ago, so we’re inclined to believe they are legit.
You can see the images for yourself below.

Clearly, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is almost certainly going to be similar to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The curved display, boxy design, and S Pen slot are all Galaxy Note trademarks. We expected this based on earlier leaked renders, but these real-life images basically cement the rumor.
Now, these images show what is undoubtedly an early prototype of the phone. As such, the design could vary slightly from the finished product we expect to launch in early 2022. However, the basics of the design are likely set in stone by now, so your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will likely look very similar to this.

Outside of the novelty of seeing it in real life, there’s not too much about the phone that’s unexpected. The camera array is almost unchanged from the Galaxy S21 Ultra (108MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP 3x telephoto, and 10MP 10x telephoto). The display cutout is still there and still centered. There’s no headphone jack.
Stay tuned for more info on this phone to leak soon. Now that we know prototypes are in the wild, there’s bound to be more leaks.
