Airtel XStream vs JioFiber vs BSNL entry-level broadband plans that you can go for, check all offers

If you are considering subscribing to broadband plans but do not want to spend much, you can look for plans starting from Rs 399 from AirtelXStream, JioFiber, BSNL Bharat Fiber and Excitel. These plans will not have access to OTT benefits but will give decent speed and access to unlimited calls. Users can also get added benefits if they go for semi-annual and annual plans. JioFiber gives users the option to buy prepaid and postpaid fiber broadband plans.

JioFiber Rs 399 broadband plan offers truly unlimited internet at 30Mbps speed. This plan does not come with any OTT subscriptions but offers unlimited calling. The 30 Mbps semi-annual and annual plans are priced at Rs 2394 and Rs 4788 respectively and give 30 Mbps unlimited data with unlimited calling.

Airtel XStream Rs 499 broadband plan gives unlimited internet with up to 40 Mbps speed and other additional benefits include a subscription to Airtel XStream, Wynk Music and Shaw academy. The Airtel XStream app includes access to Voot Basic, Eros Now, Hungama Play, Shemaroo M and Ultra.

BSNL recently relaunched its Rs 399 broadband plan, also called the 200GB CUL gives 200GB data at 10Mbps. Once the limit is exhausted, the speed will reduce to 2mbps. BSNL Bharat Fibre Rs 449 broadband plan, which has now been regularised offers 30 Mbps speed till 3.3TB speed or 3300GB FUP limit. After the FUP limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps.

Excitel had launched broadband plans in October that give 100 Mbps for Rs 399 and 300 Mbps speed at Rs 499 per month in case users pay for the broadband plans in one go. The validities for various broadband plans by Excitel range between 1 month, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months. Excitel also has a 100 Mbps stay-at-home plan, which is priced at Rs 565 and gives three months validity. This plan is ideal for streaming purposes.

TataSky 50 Mbps broadband plan: For 3 months, Tata Sky is giving a broadband plan at Rs 2097. This means that per month, this plan costs Rs 699. It also gives unlimited landline calls. The plan is however not available in all telecom circles and users should check availability first to access them. ACT Fibernet gives a broadband plan with 150 Mbps speed that costs Rs 1085 per month and gives up to 1000GB download and upload speed. It also gives 2 months extra service for some plans.
